This is my mixed spice pumpkin and apple crumble recipe! The added pumpkin purée and mixed spice brought a warm autumnal feel from home! It was super delicious and so much fun eating it out of an actual pumpkin😛

𝕀𝕟𝕘𝕣𝕖𝕕𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤
Filling
•1/2 Baby Pumpkin
•2 tsp Cinnamon
•4 tbsp Maple Syrup
•3 tbsp of Milk
•4 Green Apples
•Cinnamon
•Brown Sugar
Topping
•1 Cup Flour
•1 Cup Jumbo Oats
•125g Butter
•100g Sugar
•1 Carton of Custard
𝕄𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕕
Preheat your oven to gas mark 5.
Slice the top of your pumpkin and scoop until hollow.
Cook your pumpkin in the microwave until soft and then mash with cinnamon and milk until a lovely paste.
Next peel and quarter your apples and then dice into cubes.
Once all apples are diced, add to a bowl with, cinnamon, maple syrup, and brown sugar.
Pour your apples and pumpkin purée into the baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
For the topping, chop your butter into cubes and add into a mixing bowl alongside your flour and mix together with your fingers, don’t over mix or you won’t get thick crumble bits.
Next, add in your jumbo oats and sugar and pour into a separate baking dish. If too dry add some milk and scrunch it up to get extra crunchy bits. Bake for 30 minutes until golden.
Layer your filling and topping into the pumpkin and top with some warm custard.
Decorate however you please!
